Cancellation Policy

Plans change. We get it. Cancel within the notice window for your vehicle and trip type and there's no charge — full refund, no questions asked. Cancel inside the window and a fee applies, scaled to how close to pickup you cancel. Below are the exact tiers, and how to change or cancel a booking.

Notice windows by vehicle & trip

Different vehicles carry different commitments — a single sedan can be re-deployed quickly; a Limo Sprinter wedding cannot. Find your reservation type below to see what notice you need to give for a full refund.

How to cancel or change a booking

The fastest way is to call us — we answer 24/7 — and we can confirm the change on the spot:

Whichever channel you use, please include the full name on the booking, the pickup date and time, and (if available) the booking confirmation number. We'll process the cancellation immediately and email you a confirmation; refunds back to the original card take 5–10 business days to appear depending on your bank.

Edge cases & common situations

Flight cancellations

If your inbound flight is cancelled or significantly changed, contact us as soon as you have your new arrival information. Airport transfers paired to a tracked flight are protected against airline-caused delays — you'll never be charged because the airline let you down.

Weather, road closures & emergencies

If we have to cancel because of conditions outside our control — extreme weather, road closures, evacuations — you'll receive a full refund. If you choose to cancel because of forecasted conditions, the standard tier above applies.

Reducing or shortening a trip

Need fewer hours than booked, or want to cut a trip short on the day? We bill for the original booked time minimum. Reductions made before the cancellation window can usually be re-quoted — just call.

Switching vehicles

Vehicle swaps before the cancellation window are no charge. Inside the window we'll do our best, but the original booking commitment stands if a vehicle has been blocked off for you.

Outside-Bay-Area & long-distance trips

Long-distance transfers (Lake Tahoe, Carmel, LA, etc.) and partner-network bookings outside our home service area follow Tier 3 timelines by default. Specifics will be confirmed in writing at booking.

Why we have these tiers

A short note in case the structure feels strict: when you book a chauffeur, we block off a real human being and a real vehicle for the full duration of your trip. For a sedan that's a few hours' notice to redeploy. For a Sprinter wedding where the chauffeur has cleared their week and other parties have been turned away, that's not recoverable on short notice. The tiers above are designed to be fair to both sides — generous when it costs us little, firm when it costs us a lot.

We're a small team and we read every cancellation. If your situation is unusual, call us — we'd rather work with you than apply the rule book.
